hyeongjun on cravity’s contract renewal and military service 🥹 hyeongjun: we did talk among the members about contract renewal, but since the comeback was the priority in front of us we thought it might get confusing to deal with the renewal and the comeback at the same time. we said let’s first wrap up the comeback successfully, then take the time to gather our thoughts and talk it through together. so we haven’t had a serious in-depth conversation about it yet among ourselves, but i think we’ll have that time together as members after this comeback is done. taeyoung: every idol’s dream is to have a long career and with nine members, i think the dream is for all of us to renew together. hyeongjun reassured fans by saying: something we’ve been saying for a long time is ‘let’s stay together for a long time’. that wasn’t something we said loosely or lightly. it came from loving our team and loving luvity just as much, so i think we have to keep working hard with no regrets and do everything it takes to keep that promise. it might be a source of anxiety, but i want to tell everyone to trust us. hyeongjun: i think we’ll become even more charismatic and sexy after being discharged from the military. this year is our 7th year since debut and i occasionally look back at videos from when we first debuted and we’ve changed so much even between then and now. after coming back from the military we’ll mostly be in our 30s and thinking about that, while our 20s have a certain freshness to them, i feel like we’ll be able to show a whole different side of ourselves in our 30s, so i want to make good memories now while we still can. because we have so many members, if we enlist one by one it inevitably stretches out the time before fans can see us all together as a complete group. we haven’t had a deep conversation with the company about it yet, but among ourselves we’ve already started slowly thinking through, little by little, how we can shorten the military hiatus and what we can do for the fans who will be waiting. as for the military itself, i think we’ll have a more detailed conversation with the company after our contract renewal wraps up smoothly. if all the members except allen went at the same time, the hiatus would just be too long. so an idea came up where members with similar images could form units and go in two groups, splitting it half and half. the suggestion was to divide into sexy and cute and minimize the gap that way. we’re continuing to discuss measures like this with the agency to keep the full group hiatus as short as possible.
