@TigoODonnell Great game, I got every achievement for it. First playthrough on normal was definitely hard but manageable. I didn’t really mind not having an item box because Rebecca/Billy were basically walking backpacks already + dropping mechanics. The backtracking time is similar to RE1.

This game feels like the dev team really were trying to figure out how exactly you innovate on the classic RE formula when by this point it had effectively been perfected at this point, resulting in interesting but not well thought out design choices, namely no item box.

@NoxDragon26 @jilscarf That is quite easily the most intuitive puzzle in RE1R, the knight room gasses u to death if u mess up and iirc there isn't a clear solution other than bruteforcing

@jilscarf Ngl the puzzle from the crow room is not really that intuitive.

i have the feeling it's taking me longer to finish re1og than any other resident evil game because i wanted to solve the puzzles without looking up

@mahouteq Really want more people talking about dead space like it’s resident evil 1,2,Remake are such good games with incredible atmosphere and satisfying combat
