The web wasn’t built for scrolling, it was built for sharing human knowledge freely across the world. Open standards. Linked information. Permissionless publishing. That’s the foundation AI is built on.

Do frameworks make developers smarter or just hide bad fundamentals?

@plainionist If I'll be using that context in later sessions. If not, I use the compact command for the current session to reduce the context size.

After a longer discussion with your agent, do you also ask it to update its own agent file based on the learnings? 🤔

I think I’ve found the upper limit of Codex… TypeScript. Codex writes frontend code like it’s never seen a real product before.

AI doesn’t just need data. It needs truthful, diverse, human-grounded data. If the web turns into an echo chamber, AI gets worse. Truth gets blurry. We don’t just lose content quality. Instead, we risk breaking the very thing AI depends on. No web of truth → no future of AI.

But here’s the risk no one’s talking about. If the web becomes flooded with AI-generated content trained on itself, we create a feedback loop. Less signal, more noise… and the quality of knowledge starts to degrade.

@tannerlinsley Have you tried cmux? I installed it today and had a little play around, seems pretty good. I'll need to spend more time with it. It's built on top of Ghostty.

Ghostty was fun, but time for something else. I still love opencode, too but with CC plans dead on it… I’m feeling lost. Full GUI? T3 Code? Opencode GUI? Warp? Back to cursor? Try CC again? Raw Codex? My 🧠 hurts and I just need to keep shipping.

I'm putting together a web UI for the generative art engine using Flask and VueJS. Maybe I'll put it online when I'm done.

@Prathkum I’m similar. First prompt is packed with detail and direction. A few prompts later it turns into “no, do this instead” or “maybe we’ll try X”

I have noticed something weird about how I use AI. My first prompt is always my best. Clear with full context that generates great output. But then I keep going…
I always get a little tired, frustrated, and impatient and my prompts start getting worse. More rushed and less precise. And then I blame the AI.

@craigzLiszt Interesting, I’ve used AI to help me learn programming languages but I’ve never thought of spoken languages 🤔 I think I’ll give that a try 🫡

Virgin Media/o2 have some of the worst UX. Firstly, wtf is an Area Reference Number (1-32) 🤷‍♂️ Second, don't make warnings red. Red should be used to indicate an error, not a warning. Warnings should be amber.
