@d3301rl

Female (adj) - having a gender identity that is the opposite of male (Merriam-Webster). So yes I'm Adult Human Female. If cis is a slur, PLEASE call me cis.

@DadRogd Yeah - Bugs Bunny is *constantly* cross-dressing. Mrs Doubtfire is a *disgrace*. And lots of others - especially cartoons.

youtube.com/watch?v=XN2-YE… People fall out of the trans cult after the painful realization that no amount of cross-sex hormones and surgeries can turn them into the opposite sex. Humans cannot change sex. Unlike clownfish, we are gonochoric, which means we are male or female for life.

@badmathsnphet @IrishTimes Hemispheric still isn’t the globe. Anyway - irrelevant - the current rate of warming and co2 rise is pretty unprecedented.

@d3301rl @IrishTimes No, the Little Ice Age (LIA) was not a totally European phenomenon, though its most famous cultural and historical records come from that region. While it caused widespread famines and glacier expansion in Europe, research shows it was a hemispheric, non-synchronous phenomenon

@aretheymyfeet @tfw54321 @IrishTimes CO2 molecules absorb infrared radiation, and get warmer. They then warm the surrounding atmosphere. Now - when was the last time temperature and co2 levels were rising as quickly as they are now?

@d3301rl @tfw54321 @IrishTimes CO2 follows temp rises. This is the pattern for thousands of yrs. CO2 levels FOLLOW temperature changes. They don't lead them, hence they are caused by temp changes & are NOT their driver.

@aretheymyfeet @tfw54321 @IrishTimes Oh OK - to answer your question - the 1938 hurricane was worse than the Big Wind. Talking about Irish weather is pretty irrelevant when the discussion is about global weather. See how that works? 🤦‍♀️

@d3301rl @tfw54321 @IrishTimes Worse than Hurricane Katrina? The 1926 & 1938 Hurricanes were immeasurably worse. You've not shown any global worsening. That's kind of the point, isn't it.

@d3301rl @tfw54321 @IrishTimes The whole world did not experience a 1976 last yr you fool 😂 Interesting, you'll use examples of localised weather phenomenon to claim climate change but then poo poo it when the same is done in reverse. Nothing you're saying proves any human impact on the globe's climate

@d3301rl @tfw54321 @IrishTimes As for temps rising, yes, they are, though perfectly naturally as we emerge from an historically cold period. Why was the Medieval Warm period so warm? Why were vineyards common across England hundreds of yrs ago but not now? Have you ever heard of this thing called the sun?

@aretheymyfeet @tfw54321 @IrishTimes What was worse than the Big Wind of 1839? Hurricane Katrina, perhaps? You see talking about IRISH weather is irrelevant when the discussion is about GLOBAL warming. See how that works?!?? 🤦‍♀️

@d3301rl @tfw54321 @IrishTimes Ah, anecdotal "evidence" with your subjective perception clearly easily manipulated. Which summer in recent yrs exceeded the heatwave of 1976? What storm was worse than the Big Wind of 1839? What snowfall was worse than the Big Snow of 1947?

"We redistribute de facto the world's wealth by climate policy...Basically it's a big mistake to discuss climate policy separately from the major themes of globalization...One has to free oneself from the illusion that international climate policy is environmental policy. This has almost nothing to do with environmental policy anymore." Ottmar Edenhoffer "This is probably the most difficult task we have ever given ourselves, which is to intentionally transform the economic development model, for the first time in human history." Christiana Figueres Leader of the U.N.’s Framework Convention on Climate Change "In searching for a new enemy to unite us, we came up with the idea that pollution, the threat of global warming, water shortages, famine and the like would fit the bill....All these dangers are caused by human intervention....and thus the 'real enemy, then, is humanity itself....believe humanity requires a common motivation, namely a common adversary in order to realize world government. It does not matter if this common enemy is 'a real one or….one invented for the purpose." Club of Rome "The concept of national sovereignty has been immutable, indeed a sacred principle of international relations. It is a principle which will yield only slowly and reluctantly to the new imperatives of global environmental cooperation." UN's Commission on Global Governance "Effective execution of Agenda 21 will require a profound reorientation of all human society, unlike anything the world has ever experienced a major shift in the priorities of both governments and individuals and an unprecedented redeployment of human and financial resources. This shift will demand that a concern for the environmental consequences of every human action be integrated into individual and collective decision-making at every level." UN

@d3301rl @dysonoval @codohertynews Eh, it's literally their ideological preference. Technocrats will manage the world. The rulers will simply continue to rule as they already do now, except they'll enjoy absolute power completely unrestrained by any democratic accountability or restraints.

@aretheymyfeet @tfw54321 @IrishTimes I'm over 50 years old, and I can tell you today's weather is VERY different to the one I experienced as a kid. Almost every country on Earth has recorded their hottest ever temperature since the year 2000. And that's just one statistic.

@d3301rl @tfw54321 @IrishTimes Simply not true. There's no evidence whatsoever that storms are worse, hurricanes are more frequent etc. Pure BS. The worst snow storms, heat waves, floods, earthquakes, etc ALL historic. None recent. It's a completely fabricated claim that these things are becoming worse.

@d3301rl @IrishTimes Where did I say that? Though, interestingly, population ctrl & eugenics (the reasons abortion has been promoted) are central this whole agenda. @Stephen48301224 @northseaweather @codohertynews 1.5 molecules per 10,000 increase divided by 4 molecules per 10,000 level is 0.375 - i.e. 37.5%. Yes the ATMOSPHERE has changed by 0.015%, but CO2 levels have changed by 37.5%. Bring about communism? I've heard many other conspiracy theories. Are you sure yours is right?! 🤣🤣🤣

Scale, like context, is everything. If you have a fuel tank that only has a thimble full of petrol left and that thimble full is increased by 33% you still have an empty tank. CO2 in the atmosphere occupied about 2.5 molecules in 10,000. It now occupies 4 molecules in 10,000. So the atmosphere has chained by 1.5 molecules in 10,000. That incease is NOT 33%. The atmosphere has changed by 0.015%. I really doubt that 1 molucule of CO2 is able to warm up 2,500 other molecules in any measurable way. The point of man made climate change was not to fix what is an imaginary problem but to change the economic model of nations, in other words bring about Communism.
