@Sweetbird76 @Froshnfeet @toylan20 I actually am more happy about my health metrics (cholesterol, hs crp, a1c, fasting glucose and insulin) over the weight/look. Because that is what is saving my life. But we humans are visual creatures and going from fluffy to somewhat fit is a good story.
English

@Sweetbird76 @Froshnfeet @toylan20 I worked hard to get what I got, so yeah, I have a little pride. And I have never hid that I used all the legal tools available to take get myself out of a dangerous equilibrium. The tools just set situation, I still had to eat a proper diet and work out a lot to get it.
English

@Froshnfeet @toylan20 My T was 210, aka hypogonadal and have a prescription from my pcp. That level actually increases the chance of dying. My assignment was to find ways to not die and be with my family functioning as long as I can. I stay around 900.
English

@danielobvt @toylan20 So you’ve been in the gym your whole life and got on drugs. This was not the assignment. Please reread the instructions.
English

@TheReal50305775 @toylan20 Or keep muscle mass. Probably a cofactor in why I lost 10lbs of muscle vs 40lbs of fat. (Lifting and diet being the other factors)
English

@danielobvt @toylan20 Did you get on T? I feel like it’s very important for guys to start introducing it in their late 40s. Otherwise it becomes very hard to gain muscle mass.
English

@TheReal50305775 @toylan20 Yeah. After 4 months I had a hunch and ran the test myself(214). Since then I have been on 200mg/w.
I tell every man over 40 I know to run the test yearly and not fear the needle. I have gotten 4 people on TRT since then.
English

@CoffeeBlackMD I was surprised my IM PA PCP ordered it. But it probably helped on prescribing Mounjaro (not as much as a1c) and even then it took a while to work.
Yes I keep my labs in a spreadsheet….

English

@cogniflux @toylan20 It was slow and moved in fits and stops. Heavy protein to get to my goal of 180g or so then feather it in (my appetite isn’t what it used to be). Upper-lower-off lifting for 40-60m, 150 minutes z2 cardio. 15-16k steps a day.
English

@danielobvt @toylan20 Wow what's you workout and diet. That's impressive and how long did it take to start seeing results
English

@dope_uh_meen @toylan20 Thanks!
I am still 8-9lbs and 4-5% body fat from my target. And it’s hard to shake not being fit for my entire adult life psychologically…
English

@danielobvt @toylan20 “Getting there”? Brother you are DICED
English

@TimoMakkonen06 @toylan20 TRT along with protein and lifting is a big reason why I lost 40lbs of fat and 10 of muscle. (And there are some arguments that the calculated proposed muscle loss is misrepresented).
English

@danielobvt @toylan20 TRT is a good way to enhance your results. I wish it was a more common treatment for 50+ men.
English

@NFTiamo @RedactedDeGen @toylan20 Not so far as I have seen. I will run another dexa scan soon but nothing to complain about. Strength training is supposed to mitigate that side, lots of lazy people out there that won’t lift.
English

@danielobvt @RedactedDeGen @toylan20 Congrats! Hard work eventually paid off. What about the bone density? It is said that reduces the density as well the weight. Is that true ?
English

@Pelvis_Presly @RedactedDeGen @toylan20 I am a slow responder so it has taken me 20 months to get from the left to the right. Which is fine since it helped with the loose skin that comes from fat loss like this
English

@Clownworldnow1 @toylan20 Constipation until I got the fiber right. Nothing since then. Just amazing health metrics and weight loss. The stuff literally saved me from an early grave.
Annoyed that the bad hype kept me away so long.
English

@toylan20 @danielobvt No side effects? It's modeled after reptile venom.
English

@Lucasrsmartinez @toylan20 Tirz (still at 10mg) and 200mg Test C.
English

@RedactedDeGen @toylan20 No argument there. It’s hard to look at old pictures of me, but also realizing that the tools that got me free weren’t readily available until the last few years. GLP1’s saved my life (fixing my inflammation, blood sugar and a ton of other metrics other than weight) Fluffy to fit
English

@danielobvt @toylan20 Man you look way better. Not gonna lie you looked awful before super inflamed but the after pic looks great
English

@rachaelbereba Been doing it for years (decade or more). Keeps the stink down a lot.
English

@micheal_ws18 Lower body. Biggest muscles and falling is the most common cause of death as you get older.
English

@RentYourStocks @VinnyJay87 For you. For most people the needle is a big hurdle. Diabetics just shifted but for the general population they don’t even like their annual flu shot from another person, much less jabbing themselves every week.
English

@VinnyJay87 I think for some it would be. They already take pills.
English

@brianluidog Throughout history being fat was a sign of prosperity/wealth. Now it’s steadily becoming a sign of poverty. (The upper middle and upper class are rejecting obesity at a startling rate)
