@Andymack I have mine sorted by record label & cat no within label, it’s a halfway house between chronological/alphabetical & genre vibes depending on how eclectic label is. I then try put labels adjacent that have a connection in my head - 4AD next to Geffen so Pixies & Nirvana are near

Record collecting people, currently my albums are all in alphabetical order but I'm thinking about rejigging things & sorting them by genre. Is this a mad idea? Where do you even start? What genres? Do you end up arguing with yourself over where something goes? So many questions
