Not defending the NBA players, they are pussies, but the demand on their joints is much more severe than skates on ice. Running and jumping on hardwood is terrible for your knees and Achilles. Skates allow more smooth motion. If With that said, sports science has completely failed these athletes.

He looked FAST, looks so smooth/casual too I don’t even think Grits realizes his true potential yet. His skating and shot are really high end, he just has to be a bit more selfish and gain the confidence to take over games more often.

During that game, the goalie Fitzgerald hastily extended had one of the worst goalie performances in NHL history.
