@tommy_prusa3d I haven't experience that yet, but thanks! ❤️ What should be an improvement is the ability to choose the extruder for top and bottom layers separately, or inner/outer perimeters. Right now you can only do this technique with the infill extruder.

@diegotrap Might be worth noting that many materials can shine through a bit, for example if you have the yellow on the outside then it would look dark where the dark infill would be.

@CompanyCXO Pensé algo parecido al leerlo, sobre todo muy repetitivo en todas los casos que analiza y un poco superficial. Lo mejor del libro es ver que si existen compañías así, se puede hacer!

Bueno, me he terminado el libro “The Compounders” - me ha parecido una auténtica pérdida de tiempo… En esencia explica de forma súper escueta y con escasa calidad literaria, la historia de 9 empresas que han crecido a partir de M&A A parte de añadir un montón de frases sensacionalistas tipo “si hubieras invertido 100.000$ en 1972 hoy tendrias 100 millones” - mira, si hubiera tenido 100.000$ en 1972 para no tocar, hoy probablemente estaría muerto La esencia del libro se resume: hay una serie de compañías a las que les ha ido bien haciendo mucho M&A porque han sido eficientes en capital y analíticas a la hora de invertir, principalmente centrándose en métricas de flujo de caja vs. capital invertido - si entiendes esto, no te aportará nada el libro Espero haberos ahorrado unos €€ y unas horas de lectura improductiva (Qué bien me sienta la baja de paternidad! 😂)

@zanehengsperger It’s a problem that can be solved in 1D (bars), 2D (sheets) and 3D (blocks)! I have the same problem when I cut aluminum stock bar to length for my customers. Some methods are greedy algorithms or linear programming.

metals problem: if one has 20 orders of 20 different sizes and 10 pieces of inventory (that are all bigger than the current orders) and they are all different input prices... how does one optimally reduce waste, machine/item change time, and optimize for cost? should be a fun one to solve!

@ZombieHedgehog_ For me, the only advantage over PLA is temperature resistance or slight flexibility. I don’t like printing with PETG, though, because it sticks to the nozzle and causes a lot of defects and crashes.

Besides "PETG is clearly stronger/better", I've yet to see a solid argument why the average person would want to swap from PLA to PETG. Send me some more inspiration! I'm learning about a lot of edge cases that PETG benefits over modern PLA I'm using the Polymaker app for a lot of comparisons too, check it out: app.polymaker.com/compare

@norbertUT Wallapop, o regalarlas o llevarme alguna a casa! Desmontar para componentes o convertirlas ya creo que no me merece la pena, consume mucho tiempo o mucho espacio.
