@SybreWaaijer @KatieKeithBarn2 Nice switch! You've seen codex more reliable than opus 4.7? Using it in plain golang! But seems like starting to invent more code then request and, and when catch it fast - sorry i was trained and learned to do task fast not think and keep the rules and specs!

@digitasell @KatieKeithBarn2 The most intelligent thinking. From October I used Opus 4.5, from February I used Opus 4.6, and now, since April I use GPT 5.5. Anything less is frustrating and easily a waste of time. I find myself learning from rather than correcting these models—a colleague, not an intern.

Are you successfully using AI to directly update the content of your WordPress site? I haven't figured this out yet as the official MCP is so technical and the others look bloated, so I'd love to know what you're using.

I have always managed the content locally, ensuring data resiliency. Thanks to that, switching to writing with AI was just a matter of writing plans, prompts, skills, and general instructions. Took a few months of refinement (switching models causes side effects), and now it's pretty much one-shotting anything I want to write. Still taking it slow because I also have to proofread everything. Refined close to 500k characters of prose this year for TSF's network, and wrote 300k for Troy.

If you maintain a WordPress theme with SEO functionality, remove that feature — you're doing it wrong anyway.

@wpantonio_com Sure, but it may not be able to find content for description generation, and you may need to rely on quick-edit for editing SEO metadata. Try it and see if it works for you.
