For NEET UG coaching, I paid 100% fees while my SC/ST friends got full waiver. Every day I pedaled my old cycle through Delhi traffic, sweating under the sun, while my SC/ST and OBC classmates ~many from well-off families ~ arrived comfortably in cars and flashy bikes like R15. I still remember those ₹5 bus tickets on other days, walking 2km when I couldn’t afford even that, and saving ₹50 on weekends just to eat dolma aunty ke momos ~ a small joy that felt like victory after all the struggle. I cracked NEET UG, IIT, and NEET PG. Yet I was forced to settle for a mid-tier government college. Students with half my marks got top seats. SC/ST candidates entered NEETPG with -40, 4, or 40 marks while seats were denied to me even at 495. In college, my fees were ₹40k. Theirs? Only ₹10k. This is just 5% of my long struggle story. And thanks to your legacy, the real battle continues Lifetime ~ reservation in Srship, Assistant Professor, HOD, and every promotion ahead. An old couple approached the Allahabad HC seeking maintenance from their daughter-in-law, stating that they were aged, illiterate, and financially dependent on their son during his lifetime. After their son died in 2021, they were left without any means of sustenance. It was argued that all service-related and retiral benefits went to the wife, who is also a constable in the UP Police, and therefore should maintain them. The court rejected their plea as per the law. A daughter-in-law is not required to maintain her deceased husband’s parents, even if she receives all the benefits and pension. On the other hand, if a husband dies, the wife can claim maintenance from her in-laws. Even if she remarries, she can still claim her share in the ancestral property from the father-in-law. Dear @bihar_police, I am aware that you guys are poor at reading the posts, but it is pathetic that you would produce a notice with so many grammatical errors! 1. It is either ‘Twitter handles’ or ‘Twitter accounts’, (in plural, Twitter’s T in caps). It shouldn’t be ‘twitter handle account’. This is embarrassing to start with. 2. Use -…- prior to putting handles, instead of “…” as it is not some direct speech. 3. It should be ‘posts’ as there are three ‘objectionable posts’, not one. 4. It should be ‘X’ instead of ‘Twitter’. If at all you have to use Twitter, must put X as context because Twitter doesn’t exist now. 5. It should be ‘Twitter handles’ and not ‘handle’, as there are three handles. Plurals, you know! 6. Misspelled ’spread’ as ‘spreaa’ suggests how hurriedly this was typed! 7. Again, ‘handles’ and not ‘handle’. 8. When you are writing the ‘handles’ below, why use ‘above Twitter handle’? 9. ‘URLs’, ‘handles’ as there are three. Plurals. 10. Following must be followed by ‘:’ 11. Please put a comma after ‘Now’. 12. Instead of ‘information is’, use of ‘pieces of information are required’ is the correct way to put it. 13. ‘Handles’ and ‘handles’. Plural. Dear @samrat4bjp, please give them a better staff with knowledge of good English. Or, let them write in Hindi. What’s wrong with Hindi? I see, they would screw up more in Hindi!
