日本には野菜や果物を無人で売ってる販売所がある。 箱に野菜が入っていて、隣に料金箱があるだけ。 監視カメラもなければ、店員もいない。 でもちゃんとお金は入ってる。 🥦🍆🍅🥒🥕🌽

@hiranoi_nomade I love potatoes in any form but mashed potatoes mixed with cream cheese, sour cream and butter is my favorite.

Moved into my new house last year, so my vegetable garden is just getting started. Dug out a small area to squeeze something in while planning a bigger one with raised planters. Packed it with: banana trees including a blue banana variety, ginger, turmeric, several pineapple varieties, sunflowers, corn, eggplant, peppers, purple/orange/white sweet potatoes, green beans and carrots. Yes, I know my house looks orange. Wanted to paint it right away, but my daughter says it adds character and won’t let me paint it 😆. What do you guys think of the orange? Agree with her or should I paint it white? Will check back in a few months to see how the harvest goes!

It also had this fern growing next to it but I’m not sure what this one is

@namagusa_bouz They aren’t normally this long. I went to a different store than normal and they had these for really cheap so I got a bunch

@ErinnFL キュウリを棒で軽く叩く。 適当に切って塩ふってもんで袋に入れて鰹だしの粉末、醤油少々入れて放置。 一時間くらい放置で『浅漬け』の完成だ… もっと本格的な作り方もあるけどね～

@hiranoi_nomade Thank you! I’ll make this. I don’t have the mala jiang seasoning but I have everything else and grok said I can use star anis to get a similar taste

@ErinnFL 中華風の和物はどうでしょうか？ これは麻辣醤という中華調味料を使っていますが、胡麻油と生姜と唐辛子と醤油で合わせても美味しいです。

@yaumi_aki Thank you for describing it! I’ve never seen either before. It looks amazing and I love barley soup but hardly ever use it. I need to try this. 😊

@ErinnFL また、手前に写っている茶色いものは麦味噌です。味噌の一つで、麦と大豆から作られています。日本の九州という地方でよく食べられています。味噌のなかでは比較的甘くて塩辛くないため、きゅうりと一緒にそのままたべることができます。

ちなみに昼間は人を呼んで飲んでたのでお料理しましたよ。餃子は普通の餃子と、鶏ひき肉と大葉と水菜の餃子の2種盛り。フィーリングで作ったけどおいしかったね

@ErinnFL @yaumi_aki ククク… そいつは竹輪という魚のすり身を加工した食品の中にキュウリを射し込んだ一品だ… 竹輪はタンパク質を効率よく摂取できるが、塩分が少々気になる… そこでキュウリを射し込むことにより水分や食物繊維も同時に補給できるようにした完全栄養食になった訳だ…！
