@no1sunkfarmer @wheat_daddy @piggy_jags Using the fluffy wildlife card means they can then waste the money on new chairs and computers etc and the majority of people will not question where the money went or to why they didn’t do there job in the first place 😡

How can the environment agency get away with this, more wildlife drowned, more food ruined and farmers having to put up with this and no compensation or insurance so a huge financial hit. This is the 3rd time since 2019. And before any one shouts, it’s a flood plain, let it flood. 1/3 of Lincs is below sea level and produces a big % of the nations food.

Need some opinions here. Was offered a couple severely hailed pivots of corn to chop. What will it yield? Nitrate problems? Wait until it's further along? Do it now? Don't do it? Help @BenRand10

@jimRFU @Twickenhamstad What caused so much 'lack of traction' ? Players sliding about with seemingly little grip and the poor South African taken to hospital. Is it their boots, the climate or other reasons. Looking forward to hearing from you.

@liamjjjames What a pitch! 14th year of play with significant loss of upper rootzone and fibres. What a challenge to accommodate so many games and training sessions. Great work and continued results. Great passion gives great results.

@ct_turf My query was about the negatives on applying or over applying potassium, due to the reduced calcium uptake by the plant. Interesting that you do not consider calcium a worth while nutrient. Would you like to expand your thoughts on this?

@TurfTruth I'm not sure if by methods do you mean substantiated research data. TurfTruth are simply exposing myths, meaningless statements, as above. By saying / printing 'maybe' is ambiguous especially as it could also imply 'maybe not' too. Their names are included on their videos

Top ten marketing claims that should set off your BS alarm: 6. May aid in plant uptake of micronutrients. Interpretation: We don't really know what this does and marketing can't think of any better claim, sooo...micronutrients!

@TurfTruth @AllynHane Soil analysis provides great information, usually identifying what is not needed. When correlated with leaf tissue further substantiation becomes known. I cannot believe the amounts of potassium applied or product 'branded TURF HARDENER' - kidology at its best..

@Gerry_C1977 @anthonypainter Is this where you play the old argument people play when talking about paying McDonalds staff more money? "BIG MACS WILL BE $10 EACH IF WE PAY $15 AN HOUR!£&$&!($" To answer the question though, if the staff were paid a decent wage, I'd be happy to pay more.

@Gerry_C1977 @SJRandom2 @anthonypainter An average coffee at any of the coffee shops costs approximately £0.03 per cup for the coffee. With price increases x 2 equates to £0.06 / cup. Mr Nero, the owner lives in the Waldorf Hotel, London with a discounted rate of £850/- per day or at least did do so before lockdown.

@TurfTruth @earthworksturf Joking? Absolutely not, we’ve been successfully balancing soils for 35 years with many of the best in the turf business. Hear their stories weekly on the EarthWorks Podcast! By the way, my name is Joel Simmons, @soilfirst, I didn’t catch your name(s)?

BS=9. @earthworksturf claims calcium carbonate will lower soil pH! This must be a setup. @soilfirst please tell us you are joking. Calcium carbonate neutralizes soil acidity. It does not add or liberate H ions and will not lower soil pH! youtu.be/SzOtl7wyv-0

@liamjjjames @tnsfc The high relative humidity is an absolute detriment to all grasses, but so much worst in a stadium environment with little air movement, which if I could move would still be saturated. Ever tried breathing under water? Well, neither will grass, hence disease. Magic wand required!

Not all plain sailing been smashed with disease So not ideal prep before our first game of the season on sat. Bit battered and bruised from last weeks friendlies and back to back training sessions yesterday But we are ready for @tnsfc v Victoria Plzen in the Europa League tonight

@TurfTruth @AllynPaul @YouTube It would be good to see numbers, the actual quantities of each element and the testing methods. It looks like a huge over application of phosphorus, but without numbers who know. Some well rotted BS would probably work wonders and there's an 'awesome' amount of that spurting out!

@agricontract Maybe it's etiolated growth syndrome. Very common in grass species since the 1950's the cause isn't fully understood and maybe associated with extremes of temperatures, the use of plant growth regulators (gibberellin inhibitors), nutriment deficiencies and others.
