Something that’s confirmed as soon as Kleya tilts her head up to look at her, nose brushing against the underside of her jaw. She meets her gaze steadily for a moment, then tilts her head up to kiss her, soft and slowly.

Vel’s undivided attention has the same effect it usually does on Kleya— it evokes a warmth in her chest, far more familiar now than it was at first.
