The devil wants you to watch porn, have meaningless sex, stay poor, be irresponsible, smoke weed every day, indulge in garbage food, get depressed, not find love, not be loved by anyone, never have kids, reject your nature, live a sad life, and die a lonely death. Dear son, break this cycle.

Just for fun, I tried watching episode one of “The Madison.” Written by closet-feminist Taylor Sheridan, so I know what to expect. Opens with two brothers, Preston and Paul (Kurt Russell and Matthew Fox), fly fishing—so far so good. Cut to NYC: a woman walks and talks on her cell about the fancy upscale brands she just bought—then she gets mugged. It’s New York, so nobody stops to help her. Next, a giant banquet filled with DIVERSE WOMEN, at which a speaker says “The Washington Heights women’s center will provide essential services for New York’s most underprivileged and underrepresented demographic (women, of course). A woman next to Michelle Pfeiffer says, “The nutritionist was my idea—the diet of some of those people is abhorrent.” To which Michelle responds “They don’t eat junk because they like it, they eat it because it’s cheap.” This is when I knew this show wouldn’t be for me, but I kept going. Michelle gets a call from her daughter Paige (the mugging victim). She tells her to go to their doctor, but instead she walks over to a black cop who interrogates her like she’s the criminal. He asks what color the mugger was; she refuses to say his race because, racism, I guess? At the doctor's office, Michelle asks Paige why she was walking alone in New York City in the first place (this obviously makes her a republican). Later, Michelle hosts an all-female family dinner: two daughters, two granddaughters, and one guy—the daughter’s beta husband. She gets a call from Preston telling her he’s taking another day on his fishing expedition. Back at the dinner table, Michelle asks the ONE MAN at the table if anything interesting happened at work, and while he’s telling her, she just cuts him off by saying “so. no nothing interesting happened.” Then she orders another martini as though being rude is perfectly fine because she has AGENCY. Next day, the only other men in the family are doing more fishing. They notice a storm front moving in but the brother says don’t worry about it, we’re going the other way. Then, they fly into the storm and poof, both die in a plane crash! NO MORE MACHO MAN FAMILY MEMBERS. 28 minutes into a 68-minute episode, both the male stars you tuned in for are gone from the story. And that’s when and why I checked out. Because who is there for me to identify with anymore, the weak beta cuck husband? Sheridan sold this as a family ranch drama with big-name male stars, then kills them before the first episode is half over! This is where he always gets it wrong. He loves his female characters AT THE EXPENSE OF HIS MALE ONES - and their fans. And that's why I gave up on his universe a long time ago.

@MrPitbull07 Only Americans would moan about not being tipped. Tips are optional based on quality of service and food/drinks standards, not compulsory. Businesses need to pay proper wages so tips are extra not relied upon by staff.

As a waiter I sat there staring at my one hundred dollar receipt with a zero dollar tip next to it and I could not help thinking about how wild people can be 😒. Eating at a nice restaurant like it is nothing but acting like tipping is optional. The servers are running around all night carrying hot plates, refilling glasses, dealing with loud tables, smiling through attitudes, and somehow a person thinks leaving nothing is fine. If you do not have money to tip, why walk into a place you cannot afford 💁🏻‍♀️. Tipping should be automatic. It is part of the cost of dining out. People want luxury food with fast food effort. Meanwhile the servers rely on tips to pay their bills. They go home with sore feet and tired backs while someone who just enjoyed a full meal walks out leaving zero. It is embarrassing behavior. If you can afford the meal, you can afford to take care of the person who made the experience possible 💸. That is just real life. DO BETTER, TIP NO MATTER WHAT.🗣️🗣️🗣️ Credit: Patricia

I think everyone's playing FIFA these days (just a guess), but the best football game ever was Sensible World of Soccer (1994). Best controls, best top-down view graphics, best sound effects. The "thump" when the ball gets kicked could not have been any better. If you think about it, Sensible Software really gave us some epic games: Wizball, MicroProse Soccer (C64 and ZX Spectrum versions), Mega-Lo-Mania, Cannon Fodder... and of course this timeless classic.

@jpends_ 💯 not enough respect put on his name. Arguably, England's best ever. The bank's save was immense at the time but been well surpassed now, even by Jordan.
