so samsung just got CAUGHT paying students to trash HTC phones online they were posting fake reviews about competitors while praising their own products and got fined $340k when it was exposed lol but here's the thing.... that was 2013, and they got caught because it was obvious now brands do the same thing but smarter they deploy 500+ faceless creators across platforms and they never directly attack competitors they just position the product as "the solution I switched to" the platform algorithm can NOT detect coordination no one thinks it's fake because each account looks independent...... it's the same manipulation just with zero legal risk when 500 creators say "I used [competitor] but switched to [your brand]" their perception shifts like crazy this is how your brand becomes the obvious upgrade this is why you see the same "switching from X to Y" narrative everywhere someone deployed ghost creators we've had competitors try this against our clients spotted it immediately because traffic sources showed bot patterns but if done right with real creators and organic traffic? basically undetectable the difference between Samsung's mistake and modern ghost content: they paid people to obviously lie (fraud) yet we pay people to genuinely use the product then share their experience (coordinated authentic marketing at scale)

can’t give you a conclusive answer as of yet as we’re still testing but some key factors - in our niche - has a cult-like following (easier sell) - consistent 5-6 figure view count - good engagement - viral potential i usually pay a good amount upfront and let them unlock the rest on reaching certain milestones. like 5 videos a month for $350 upfront, $1.2k total (only unlocked if you reach 500k+ views)

i think we’ve made approx ~$2500 today this is video 1 of 5 this creator is signed to post this month based on this, we can estimate a potential MRR +-$12,000, not factoring in any churn etc now we sign a bunch of other similarly sized creators in the same niche to do the same thing and in theory we’ll reach ‘$100k/mrr’ very fast
