Good morning cyclists! We are pleased to announce our new home in Southend High Street. We are now located in Victoria Plaza (outside the Odeon cinema) on the first and last Thursday of each month. We look forward to seeing you soon for free bike checks and security tagging.

Due to Storm Ciaran on the 2nd November the market in the high street is cancelled. Therefore we will not be present with mobile hub. Join us next week on the 30th of November for a FREE bike check and security tag!

Great news! The £2 bus fare scheme has been extended until December 2024. Previously the £2 cap was going to end on the 31st October, with the cap rising to £2.50, the Prime Minister announced earlier this month to keep the cap at £2 until the end of next year.

Southend Market Update! Due to the City Jam taking place this week we will not be attending Southend Market in the High Street on the 31st August. We will be back at the market on the 7th September offering FREE bike checks and security tagging! 🚲

If your child's school does not provide this or your child would like extra training we hold Bikeability sessions during the school holidays. We are now planning our summer holiday schedule so we urge you to email us to book your child's place at forwardmotion@southend.gov.uk

Southend Wheelers have arranged a variety of events for their Women's Festival of Cycling between 10th and 17th June and are very keen to get women out riding. For more information on the rides organised email Southend Wheelers: membership@southendwheelers.org
