Now THIS would’ve been a MUCH better ending! For the character, because it is consistent with who he was, his ongoing struggles and his legacy, and for the fans who would’ve recognized their hero instead of wondering what the heck was coming out of his mouth. I can’t… 😩

I'm nostalgic today. Being part of the H50 fandom was the best time of my life. I fell in love with characters, met lots of awesome people, got to explore Hawaii and even met some of the awesome cast. I miss sitting at the beach all day for SOTB and waiting for new episodes 🏝☀️

I'm pretty ashamed to admit it, but I never watched the last episode of Hawaii Five-0. I just couldn't bring myself to do it... I'm not good with endings. BUT ARE YOU KIDDING ME?! HOW COME I'VE NEVER SEEN THIS? Steve held Danny's hand when he was in the hospital?! 🥺

@stellagioia @ginsteer @thekristen999 2/2 I read a lot of great material written badly. I tell them the subject matter is great but it is being lost in translation from brain to paper...that writing is hard for the best of us, use an editor, plus they know how to position that "gotcha" to get someone interested in it

I need some advice since some of you are writers as well. My best friend wrote a novel about her experiences abroad. She just sent me the manuscript for feedback. I started reading it and it's not good... But it's gonna crush her if I tell her that. What do I do?

@thekristen999 @stellagioia I agree with everything. I'm just scared that, regardless of how or what I say, she's going to be hurt and disappointed. She's worked so hard and has already sent it out to some publishers. I think I'll just start by telling her some of the larger elements that don't work.

@ginsteer @stellagioia You don't have to be a jerk about it but if the issues are big than start there and don't go deep if there is a lot of re-writng that needs to be done first, but give her some paths to take with suggestions t get there so she has a road map

@stellagioia I added some suggestions and comments to her story, but I don't know if that's going to make anything better. She's a brilliant and smart girl, but I don't think writing is her thing... But that book is her baby! I'm so torn...

@ginsteer I feel you. No one wants to hear that the story they spent months writing isn’t good. Maybe don’t tell her that but suggest what she can do to improve it? Point out one or two specific things that you feel would make it flow better, and see how she reacts to that.

Our radio at work just played the Hawaii Five-0 theme song! I'm kinda confused. I didn't know people actually listen to that like you would to a pop song or something 😄 I'm not mad about it, though. Just a little emotional maybe lol.

@ginsteer @racoon_sa well if I was writing this and was forced to skip all of Eddie's recovery (ggggrrr) then at least I'd have over protective Buck in this with Eddie only being back at work a short time and they're both in danger with lots of heart to heart talks and mutual worry for the other
