Disturbingly this happens many, many times every day. It takes almost nothing to get “zeroed out” by your own comrades in the Russian Army. Being wounded, falling behind or getting separated from your guys in the chaos of battle (which then leads to accusations of cowardice and trying to desert which result in summary execution), refusal or reluctance to go on assaults or obvious suicide missions, refusal to be extorted out of your pay by your leaders and commanders, your leadership simply disliking you, etc.
