I saw two small children playing drafts on a local chessboard, and I was moved to tears while watching them. About 30 minutes away from my house is a slice of beautiful untouched beach fronting Atlantic Ocean, I tend to go with friends sometimes. Very close on that same beach are some French fishermen and their families, so we order quite the fish from them.(It's cheaper) On this day I went there, and saw this group of kids playing. So I sat to watch and discovered a horrible truth. Supposedly they were playing to win a full plate of food from anyone's dinner. What do you mean these children aged 5-6yrs have to play chess to eat a complete meal? I ran back to my house and brought Noodles, Bread and my mum's remaining pack of turkey to share amongst themselves. It's a sobering reality that some might see dirty children playing chess but @Tunde_OD and @chessinslums have made it possible that these boards become launchpads of opportunities for these children. I might not be able to gift as much or help them but I'm definitely grateful and deeply appreciative that Mr. Tunde uses chess, a recreational game to change young lives for the better. And it brings to mind this question: Can scrabbles be used to help others? My point is, there are unlimited ways to help those around you. I've never had to worry about my next meal and that day I understand how much of a blessing I have. Ps: I didn't take pictures of the children.

Last week on Fire Force, I watched Arthur split the Earth in half from the moon. This week, I watched Benimaru's doppelganger charge up a technique so powerful it created a flame ring around the earth. Faerie pulling the moon towards the Earth & Shinra stopping it with a kick 😭
