Nursery enjoyed talking about #Childrensmentalhealthweek this week! We discussed how we were feeling and how we can make our friends feel happy. We decided to give our friends a hug and create our own happy art work! 😊🎨

Nursery have been working hard this afternoon to add the correct amount of Pom poms on the spots using our knowledge of subitising and number recognition.

Reception loved participating in their yoga session today. They learnt some fantastic relaxing yoga poses #childrensmentalhealthweek

Thank you so much to one of our lovely parents and Grandparents for coming to celebrate Chinese New Year with us in Nursery this morning! We had so much fun learning about the Chinese culture and writing in Chinese! 🇨🇳 🏮❤️

Nursery and Reception have really enjoyed experiencing Chinese culture this afternoon! We tried on some special clothes and had a special meal with all of our friends to celebrate Lunar New year! We also took our class dragon on a tour of our school! 🇨🇳🥢🏮🐉🐍

Nursery have really enjoyed learning all about Lunar New Year this week! We have had lots of fun exploring our chinese restaurant and learning the meaning of Lunar New Year.

This morning Nursery were very excited to take part in a bird hunt in the forest! We had our own clipboards with pictures of different birds to find and used our listening skills to listen for chirps! 🐦‍⬛🐦🦉

Nursery had lots of fun taking part in a PE lesson with Mr Turpin this morning! We enjoyed moving in lots of different ways and practiced our ball skills! 🎾

Nursery enjoyed baking some shortbread shell biscuits on Friday! We have been reading a story called ‘sharing a shell’ and decided as a class to bake and share a special biscuit with a friend. 🍪🐚

Nursery have had such a fun filled day taking part in our Santa dash and we enjoyed a delicious Christmas dinner! 🎄🎅🏽⛄️

This afternoon nursery loved playing in the water tray filled with oranges, cranberry’s, star anise, whole cloves, cinnamon sticks and pine.
