it’s truly such an annoyance that social media platforms heavily reward niche behavior, and punish being a whole entire human. but also it’s nice to have a place that’s completely divorced from my Other Content, and isn’t about being funny or purposefully engaging or whatever

@hotforwizard I hate that companies ruined social media, because being a whole ass person used to be what got you known.

it’s still annoying and kind of vaguely uncomfortable to keep it slower, and i’d like to think this is a reaction/experience i can overcome. but we’ll see lol

been forcing myself to slow the listening speed down on audio books to like 1.2x to slow the media consumption dopamine drip, which isn’t something i foresaw ever saying it just got to a point where i felt like i needed to? like maybe i was using consumption speed as a cope mech
