I watched multiple SaaS companies die this year because ONE update from Anthropic or Perplexity made their entire product obsolete. That's exactly why I pivoted to mobile apps at @ignytstudio. Alarm apps are doing $500K/mo and nobody is talking about this. I studied the mobile app market so you don't have to. Here's what I found before building Pact: → Alarmy (alarm app): $500K/mo, 500K downloads/mo (Sensor Tower verified) → Wayk (alarm app): launched Feb 2026, $45K revenue in 45 days, #15 Health & Fitness → Cal AI (food scanner): $2M/mo before acquisition → WrestleAI: built by an 18yo in Rork, $20-30K/mo, refused a $300K exit The pattern: simple iOS apps + TikTok distribution = real money. Nobody has done this with a social alarm. That's why I'm building Pact. That's why I'm documenting it. Gonna put this inside my Perplexity Computer AI agent and have it internalize it. This should help a lot when it comes to figuring out TikTok distribution later.

I'm betting the rest of 2026 on B2C mobile apps. Launching @ignytstudio today. My AI-first app studio where I build and scale 2 apps per month. Solo. Why mobile apps? SaaS is getting destroyed right now. ONE update from Perplexity or Anthropic kills three companies overnight. B2C apps are different. Build fast, market on TikTok and IG, ride the viral wave, monetize hard, then exit or kill it and ship the next one. Two apps every month. Full marketing. Full revenue transparency. Everything documented live. Rork Max for building. Perplexity Computer for operations. Gonna use all the AI skills I have learned over the past ONE year for this project and gonna do it all, solo. First app idea is finalized and will be dropping THIS week. This is either going to hit massive or I'm going to fail very publicly lol.
