Rev 3:15–16 👉🏼 THE SCOFFERS: Those who mock, ridicule, and drag others down. Their words wound, but their presence proves prophecy true. They live according to their own desires, are spiritually blind to God’s timing, and openly mock believers who are watching and longing for Christ. Their mocking is expected, and we are called to stay firm, continue watching, and not be discouraged by their ridicule. 🔔Listen: The job of the Church is NOT to protect people from disappointment by telling them not to watch or by discouraging them from doing so on certain dates. To do that is to keep them from having their faith perfected and to ROB them of a blessing! 💡God knew that His people would long for His appearing and would stumble in their waiting, failing time and time again, and that we would have to endure with perfect patience. There is not a single verse in the Bible that instructs us to limit our watching, or warns against “hoping during certain dates.” Over and over again, the warnings are against scoffing and lukewarmness — not against watching or the way we should do it! 💐There are blessings that come to our lives by watching, BY PERSEVERING! It’s not in vain — it produces endurance, strengthens faith, and secures eternal reward. 📖"For you have need of endurance, so that after you have done the will of God, you may receive the promise." Hebrews 10:36 📖"And not only that, but we also glory in tribulations, knowing that tribulation produces perseverance; and perseverance, character; and character, hope." Romans 5:3–4 📖"Because you have kept My command to persevere, I also will keep you from the hour of trial which shall come upon the whole world, to test those who dwell on the earth." (Revelation 3:10) ❌Jesus never said, “Do not watch so you won’t be discouraged.” Instead, He said: 📖“What I say to you, I say to all: WATCH!”. Mark 13:37 That is not optional. He commanded us to stay awake, to keep our lamps burning, and to comfort one another with the promise of His coming. 📖“Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord. Therefore comfort one another with these words.”1 Thes 4:18 📨Paul’s final words to Timothy point directly to the Blessed Hope, where he explains the crown of righteousness that the Lord will give to all who have loved His appearing. Even in the face of death, Paul’s hope and faith remained fixed on the rapture, showing that the Blessed Hope is not only a future promise but also the anchor of the believer’s life, reminding us how vital it is to PERSEVERE UNTIL THE END. 📖"For I am already being poured out as a drink offering, and the time of my departure is at hand. I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Nowhere in Scripture do we find an example of someone turning away from watching—Paul himself remained watchful until the very end. ⚠️If watching were something that could weaken our faith, both Jesus and Paul would have warned us! Instead, we are reminded that Christ holds each of us securely in His hand, will never let us go, and, as the Author and Perfecter of our faith, watching ANCHORS us firmly to Him. And in the end, the question remains: If Jesus comes today, what does He want to see? ⏹️People waiting anxiously and lovingly for Him, like the faithful church? ⏹️People indifferent, and distant absorbed by this world? ⏹️Or people discouraging others from watching, robbing them of the hope of His appearing? ✅The answer is clear. Jesus desires His church to be watching, longing, and filled with hope — even if we fail, time and time again, even if we grow weary, we rise again to keep hoping. THAT IS THE FAITHFUL CHURCH!! 🔊Church: Jesus didn’t leave us instruction on how to watch because watching is not about perfection or getting it right — it’s about a heart fully fixed on Him, trusting Him, and persevering in hope against everything. We don’t have much to offer that is worthy of our King of Glory — no fancy words, no grand offerings — but we bring You these hearts full of worship, and we give them fully to YOU. 👐🏼We come before You with nothing to prove, nothing to offer You except a heart overflowing with thankfulness for all You have done for us — for creating us before the foundation of the world, for choosing us, for rescuing us from our sins, addictions, fears, anxiety, shame, loneliness, hopelessness, guilt, pride, sickness, rejection, abandonment, brokenness, depression, and death! You reached into the grave, pulled us out, restored us, gave us purpose, and offered us new life — a forever future with YOU!! 👉🏼Our words feel so small right now, and our prayer feels way too short — but You are worthy beyond what we could ever say. And so we lift our hearts again and again. We lift our voices. We bring You our praise — not to impress You, but because it is what is in our hearts, and it’s all we have. And what we have, we give fully to You. 🙌🏼WE PRAISE YOU, LORD — again and again! You are our King, our Father, our Friend. You are our past, our present, and our future! You are everything we’ve ever longed for — our Forever One — the One we adore, the One we will worship for all eternity. You are everything we need, and we exalt You on Your throne — we bow at Your feet, washing them with our thankful tears — because You alone are worthy of it all. 🕊️Holy Spirit, stir in us the highest praise worthy of our King. Awaken the lion within our lungs — breathe life into us, and let nothing hold us back from pouring out our praise. Make us bold — never timid, never shy — in the presence of the One who deserves it all. 🙌🏼Lord, You deserve every single hallelujah — tired ones, loud ones, broken ones, simple ones. You never run out. You never end. And neither should our praise. 👆🏼Receive it, Lord — our worship, our hearts, our surrender. This is for You, and for You alone. This is Yours. 🙌🏼Forgive us when we forget how good You are. Even when we don’t feel like it — remind us to lift our hands, to sing hallelujah, and to praise You simply because You are worthy. 👉🏼Thank You for Your presence that never leaves us — even when we come empty, even when we come broken, even when our praise feels small — You are still moved by it, by our prayers, even our tiny whispers and our surrender. 🙌🏼So today, we give You what we can — our souls, our worship, our lives.
