So in a group of my professional peers, whilst speaking to some folks who knew better, here was me at 26 finding out that I was also intersex. It took me until mid 2019 to process this and be out and proud. It took me until 2021 to find a partner who wasn't scared by it.

My story; a thread. I didn't know I was intersex until I was 26, despite being diagnosed with an intersex condition at 16. I had a 51% attendance rate in Yr 11 due to chronic abdominal pain, later diagnosed as PCOS, endometriosis, and heterozygous CAH with non-classic symptoms.
