21 March 1898 | Norwegian Jew, Sigurd Levin, was born in Kristiania (today Oslo). In November 1942 he was deported to #Auschwitz. He did not survive. His wife, Dora, and children, Harriet and Ragnhild, managed to escape to Sweden.

Five-year-old Yelyzaveta Vakulenko and her 25-year-old mother, Yana, were killed in Mariupol on March 20, 2022. They lived on the city’s left bank, under relentless russian shelling from day one of the full-scale invasion. Escape was nearly impossible. Hiding in the basement of a five-story building, they tried to survive. When the building caught fire, they ran into the yard — and were cut down by mortar fire. Four others were killed alongside them.

This is 1-year-7-month-old Timur and his 26-year-old mom, Tetiana. They lived in the village of Zdvizhivka in Kyiv region. From the very first days, they hid from russian bombs in their basement. On March 13, they tried to evacuate. The next day, March 14, the convoy they were in was ambushed. Timur’s father didn’t know if his family had survived until Kyiv region was liberated from russian forces. "On April 5, I got on my bike and rode along the road. In Havronshchyna, I found a guy named Oleksiy — he showed me the ambushed car. I hadn’t even gotten close yet when I realized… it was all over," says Oleksandr Kozyrev.

FWIW Creasy and Farage are huguenot surnames. We've both got French ancestry so conor may feel we're both to be deported too given his logic but.....
