@fillefoux You should look into what they call “Apostolic Christianity” - essentially Christianity in its early days, namely before Constantine “elevated” (that is, ruined) it. To me it’s a no brainer that that’s what Christianity is supposed to be, and that’s my understanding of it

spirituality is so hard. atheists will be like oh yeah sky daddy cares about you passing a test and not kids with cancer? and ive moved past that because obviously they just don't get it. but some things do make little logical sense to me and i feel silly giving myself fully over

@fillefoux Unless you have a wicked heart, he would never be like ‘fuck you, you’re going to hell.’ He would always want to help or teach you in whatever it is you need. I don’t think you have to worry about Jesus sentencing you to Hell unless you have a genuinely wicked heart & intention

@fillefoux I think if you really consider what we know of Jesus from any source that might actually know something (i.e. the Gospel), at worst he may not be the most cuddly guy by modern standards, but he was a really magnanimous and compassionate person who wished everyone well
