Luis Castillo looked as good as ever last night. Fastball gained 3" of vert from last year and was getting whiffs even right down the middle.
43% whiff on fastball swings and 40% CSW. Excellent start to his year.

This is just absurd fluidity to a delivery. I’ve never been more confident a hard throwing prep righty will be able to handle 150+ IP a year than with this kid. Lower half power is insane, frame is ideal and mechanics are ideal

Logan Gilbert has an absurd ability to manipulate the baseball. A sinker with that kind of shape from his arm slot is ridiculous. That deathball slider looks unfair, and the splitter is on a completely different level. There is just so much to love in this arsenal.
