So I upgraded the fans on my Supermicro E200-8D to the @Noctua_at Noctua NF-A4x20 PWM. People said they were quite, but I had to take the cover off the server to prove to myself they were actually running. It's quieter than my NUCs now 🤣 Solid upgrade! #vExpert

@simoneady Totally depends on what you want. You can (normally) buy a turbo trainer for not much and stick on a YouTube training video or Zwift if you want to game it up a bit. But that doesn’t get you live spinning classes if that’s your gig

Anyone out there using the @Supermicro_SMCI SYS-E300-8D system as an ESXi host? Not on HCL but hardware appears it "should" work. Looking for confirmation and experiences.

@virtualhobbit I’ve literally had the same thoughts today. Mine is 4 years old but couldn’t justify another when there’s not really much wrong with the one I’ve got!

Three years ago I bought my current MacBook Pro (13 inch, 3.1GHz, 16GB, 1TB) for an absolute fortune. It’s done me well, and am thinking about another. The same money gets me the same specs today! WTF? So have just ordered a replacement screen and battery. Stuff buying a new 1!
