It's good to take a break from an annoying bug at the end of the day - sometimes you'll come back to it in the morning and realize it was just a typo 🙃

@Haezurath I run most days before work! Also try to do at least 30 mins of yoga a day in the evenings (usually at home, sometimes at a studio)

Does anyone else do this when creating a fresh page? Just put something random and pink when you're first testing the routing? It brings me a weird amount of joy to be like, look at this marvelous page I created! I'm such a pro

@florinpop17 I’d also recommend the doc What the Health on Netflix. And Dominion on YT if you never want to touch an animal product again (not for the faint of heart, but was ultimately what made me decide on changing)

@florinpop17 I’ve been vegan for two years! If you’re interested in health, make sure you check out WFPB. Many people go vegan and feel worse because they eat a bunch of processed meat/cheese substitutes.

Just watched The Game Changers documentary on Netflix. Pretty interesting. I’ve been a vegetarian since 2012 and a few years ago I started to eat fish occasionally. Never tried a full plant based/vegan diet, but I might give it a go and see how it affects my performance.

All of the women engineers at my new company meet up for an hour long zoom lunch once a month, and it makes me so happy 🥰 I love having a badass group of ladies to learn from!

My greatest accomplishment as a developer so far has been hitting the back arrow in a terminal command and knowing where the cursor is going to enter the character

Does starting a new job in tech ever become less terrifying? Starting my second role as a software engineer tomorrow and impostor syndrome is definitely starting to kick in!

@javascript_jess When I get imposter syndrome, I like to remind myself that in paid employment at a for-profit business, essentially I'm doing them a favour. They pay me with the intention to make more money than they pay me for my efforts. Whether that happens is up to them as much as it is me.
