From epidemiologist Katelyn Jetelina "It trains your body to make antibodies, and when a tick bites you and drinks your blood, it also drinks those antibodies, which then kill the bacteria right inside the tick's gut, before it ever reaches you." In other words, the tick bites you, has a bad time, and you walk away fine. So to summarize : mysterious boxes of ticks are appearing in farm fields, and the company that benefits most from a Lyme disease outbreak just happens to have a Lyme disease vaccine ready to go. Probably nothing.
