I once went on a date for drinks and an appetizer. Before the date, we’d been talking about a window box I wanted installed on my house. He offered to do it. He brought his tools. After enough dates to know this likely wasn’t going anywhere, I decided to be practical. After drinks, we went back to my house. I made us drinks. He installed the window box. We talked for a bit. He left. We never saw each other again. The window box looks great.
