The U.S.A. can and must be a beacon for free speech. The 1st amendment is 1st for a reason: without "freedom of speech, the freedom of the press, the freedom of assembly, [and] the right to petition the government for redress of grievances," democracy cannot function.

@realcopeaganda @elonmusk @jonstewart Heh. I just drove across town without touching the steering wheel or pedals of my Model Y, from parked in the driveway to parked in a parking lot. If that's what you call propaganda, I do not think that word means what you think it means. 😀

🚨 Ukraine liquidated 1,710 Russian fascists in the last 24 hours. Record for 2026 so far. One Russian soldier eliminated every 50 seconds.

@JayinKyiv The thing is, Ukraine probably has or will soon have autonomous drones where one operator can control dozens of drones. The operator simply selects targets, and the drones finishes the kill chain faster than a human. With that tech, why do they need humanoid robots?

@CranstonDwayne @Teslarati My LR Y only travels 2 hours at freeway speed before needing a charge. From 80% charge, actual range is ~180 miles which allows 130 miles with a 50 mile reserve. At 70 mph, two hours max. I *wish* I could go 3-3.5 hours between charges.

Supercharging basically happens on road trips. You just drove for 3-3.5 hours. By the time you go to the bathroom and grab a snack and stretch it’s been 15 minutes anyway. The car has already told you it has enough energy to go to the next 3 hour stop but by the time you pick new music it’s been 20 minutes. Charge time was not the limiting factor.

@BasilianThought @LadyMagaUSA This statement is clear, and now I understand your position. I don't agree with it, but I don't understand why you are making personal attacks and not trying to convince me how I am wrong.

Gay dudes like me had nothing to complain about up until the “queer/LGBTQIA+” movement took over. Now, the world is starting to hate us again. They see “trans” kids being mutilated, drag queens twerking in schools, the pronoun gestapo, and mockery of the Last Supper at the Olympics. Drag used to be a joke and fun. Now it’s weaponized to push demonic agendas. So anyway—gays like me are fighting the good fight. We want to be fabulous, not fanatical. Love you guys!

@BasilianThought @LadyMagaUSA I respectfully suggest that you stand up for trans people in a more coherent manner than this. Transgender people deserve to have their rights defended, but they are independent of LGB and women's rights.

right you have no issue with the erosion of free speech and free association, you're just upset that the revolution you've benefitted from has left you in the dust and you are no longer the tip of the spear. you're a radical leftist from 15 years ago and you are the 'trans' community (and therefore the left's) strongest soldier.

@JohannaNyman5 As an American and a Trump voter, I agree. Regardless of whether you agree with Trump's actions, the response of NATO countries and others was easily predicted and reasonable. Sorry, but facts is facts.

So the U.S. expects that just a few weeks after they threatened to take Greenland by force from Denmark, and after abandoning Ukraine—and thus NATO’s eastern flank—we should rush into their unplanned war against Iran? The entitlement is nauseating.

@princess_kim_k Windmills do kill birds onshore, and whales offshore. They are massive, ugly as sin, and an environmental nightmare when replacing blades or decommissioning. I used to be in favor of them, but unlike many I will change my position based on facts and new information.

@highbrow_nobrow Oh, please. Trump has consistently taken the side of the Russian terrorists. Russia is 100% responsible for their unprovoked war of aggression. Supporting terrorists is not America First, and you are working to elect Newsom in 2028. Good job. I say this as a Trump voter.

@dustoff_1sg You are counting chickens before they hatch. Venezuela is stable but not free. Cuba is very unstable, right now. Iran is in the middle of a war, and it's not clear that things will be better for Iranians afterward. This glowing praise is no better than the haters.

unless you're willing to say with your whole chest that bostock should be overturned and are okay with 'sexual orientations' being removed from the civil rights framework, all of this is meaningless posturing - drawing a false distinction between yourself and the 'trans' that doesn't actually exist.

@LadyMagaUSA The transgender movement needs to stop trying to highjack the LGB and women's rights movements that have worked tirelessly for decades to get where they are. "Intersectionality" is a propaganda word for "highjacking." Trans people must stand up for themselves.

@OkayThenNews @niccruzpatane My 2023 LR Y can only go 2 hours on the freeway (about 130 miles from 80% charge, with a 50 mile reserve). Yes, my bladder can go more than two hours, even at 60 years old. 😀

Unless you’re driving 500+ miles per day, you don’t need an EV with that much range. The average person drives around 37 miles per day. Current Tesla offerings provide way more than enough for the vast majority of people. On road trips, I can usually only drive about two hours before I need to get out, stretch my legs, etc. During that time, my car charges. It’s not the inconvenience people think it is. It doesn’t make sense to lug around a huge battery when most people don’t actually use that capacity.
