They made between $300 and $400 million dollars off those trades. Trump claimed he spoke to an Iranian official to negotiate the moratorium. The Iranians said that person doesn't exist and the conversation never happened. This is not the first time. It has happened multiple times. He says something. The trade goes on. He says another thing. The market moves. But whatever you call it — they are laughing at you and they are laughing at me while they do it. Hunter Biden sold a painting and Washington lost its mind. These people are making hundreds upon hundreds of millions of dollars trading on information that only exists inside the most powerful office in the world. The More Things Change, the More They Remain the Same: 1) Police investigating the police; 2) Police clearing the police of misconduct that a Judge and/or Jury found to be the case - testilying; 3) The Premier of Ontario and the Police Association insulting Justice Anne Molloy and demanding she apologize for her instructions to the Jury; 4) If anything the hue and cry this week reinforces the "I got your back or the thin blue line" culture of policing😉; 5) It also shows the disconnect between people who enforce the law not encouraging themselves and others to respect for the administration of justice of which our Judges and Juries are key fact finders. Ironic 🤔; 6) Justice Anne Molloy outside of being a highly respected jurist also came to the bench with a human rights perspective having spent time as counsel at the Ontario Human Right Commission; 7) You can't want to disrespect jurist when the results are not in your favor and you want other people to respect you and your exercise of discretion or the lack thereof.
