Took a huge hit to the account balance today. (Unrealized) I ended up picking up some more $660 $XSP calls. We ‘should’ see a relief rally with a potential double bottom here. I thought we would hit the top of the channel a few days ago but I was wrong. If you sold above $660 for $SPY as I recommended, well done! Photos attached for transparency. Up or down I will always show.

I’m buying the dip. $SPY is at the bottom of the Bollinger band and RSI is hitting oversold. $VIX is showing a bearish MACD divergence happening as well. We might have a vix crush Friday occur tomorrow.

Still holding some calls. We’re sitting above the 20SMA and VWAP. Better odds currently of us hitting 660 versus 650 $SPY

@vortexwyd I did… go look at my post history. On Friday I went full port on calls. All screenshots show purchase price. I’m not always correct (far from it) and I do not suggest others copy me. I’m just sharing my journey.

@legendofbytes Yes, you show us the call you’re holding, but you didn’t tell us your entry. I’m saying like if you could tell us when you get in that would be amazing.

Ideally we see some momentum upwards until 662-665. That will bring us to the top of the channel. At that point we could breakout or continue downward pressure again (more likely). Be careful with your trades. Take profits and hedge when possible! $SPY

@vortexwyd This morning I posted calls that I am holding and said I will slowly close the position when we cross 660 for SPY. Tomorrow I will do the same. My recommendation, take profit when you can. Profit is profit.

@vortexwyd I do every trading day. Including account balance. Can’t get any more transparent than that.

As I said he never carried over his Friday longs if so account would be well over 400k. But was acting as if he did. Watch who you follow.

Hit the bottom of the channel and reversed as expected. Fingers crossed no bad news over the weekend. It’s TACO time.

As noted earlier, I have loaded more calls. I am officially full port. We should see a relief rally early next week. $SPY $SPX

$SPY daily chart is nearing the bottom of the descending channel. Doubled down on 13DTE calls. We could see SPY hit $645 before a relief rally.

For those worried about the dividend on $SPY affecting their options, use $XSP during ex dividend week. Follows $SPX identically however the spreads are slightly larger.
