The Village of La Grange is holding a community workshop as part of its La Grange Forward Comprehensive Plan! Get involved, Monday, July 31 from 6:30–8:00pm at the Village Hall Auditorium (53 S. La Grange Road). This will be a family-friendly, interactive event.

Join us for Lizzie Borden & the Borden Murders on Mon., July 24 from 6:30-8:30pm. Presenter, Edward Dzialo, a Chicago actor & storyteller born & raised in Borden's home town, sheds light on this mystery by painting a fascinating picture of Borden. Please register on our website.

Over 50 people participated in our Family Escape Room last Friday! Congratulations to the escapees and thank you to all who participated.

This was a fun one! Our tweens and teens made Patriotic Pancakes at the library last week. Fresh berries! Powdered sugar! Happy July 4th to all! Look for more simple cooking programs in the fall with the La Grange Public Library.

The dogs are coming! Read to a specially trained dog for 15 minutes. Stop by the Children’s Services desk to reserve a time slot at 6:45pm Monday June 19. Reading time is one-on-one to provides an opportunity for each child to read aloud without being critiqued.
