Exciting news! @smokvc joins the $1.3m seed round of @mastheaddata, a Canada-based 🇨🇦data observability startup founded by a Ukrainian 🇺🇦 couple Yuliia & Sergey Tkachov. I met Yuliia courtesy to Google Form Startups where she pitched her startup in front of investors in Warsaw 🇵🇱 in February. We immediately clicked as I experienced the problem they are solving first-hand while at @SambaTV. Actually any data-heavy company has that same problem - data streams breaking for multiple reasons. Masthead discovers such breaks simply by analyzing database query logs, thus not requiring any heavy integrations, which is the case in competing solutions. I'm happy to be joining this round led by @focal_vc together with other great investors like @monochrome_vc, @DEPOVentures and angels from Snowflake, Google and Uber.
