@JuliaBramble That is good and what youwant to see. Mine is an independent, my car is too old to worry about it being serviced and MOT'd at the dealer...they are busy as well, but send the postcards out 3 months before it's due.

@mazdoeslinkedin That's great! There's a garage I use regularly & I asked if they did MOT reminders - the answer was no (but then they are booked out months in advance, so I guess they don't need any more custom!)

Currently waiting for my tyre to be fixed … place is absolutely packed (potholes!) But this place also does MOTs & services And I’ve noticed they’re doing something very simple & very smart… in between dealing with customers needing new tyres, & answering the phone, whoever has a spare moment jumps on the phone & works through a list of customers who’s car they MOT’d nearly a year ago. They simply call, remind them an MOT will be due soon & ask if they want to book in. Great service for the customer - no more forgotten MOTs and an easy way to have a constant supply of customers. (They’re also keeping their list up to date by deleting details of people who’ve sold the car in question.) Simple, smart and free!!

Final day of LinkedIn training for a local company. Feels so good when you see those lightbulb moments. Over to them to implement with the tools they have learnt.
