I've confirmed that Greg Bovino has put in his retirement papers for the end of the month. This comes nearly two months after Kristi Noem relieved him as "commander at large," a title that never existed in Border Patrol until Noem made it up. Bovino is chief patrol agent of the El Centro, California, sector.
