ENDED THE TRIP ON HIGH MASTER!!! 🎉 started off at the beginning on Diamond 1, so it was a lot of fun grinding in the arcades to get here 😭✨ i love street fighter!!!!

we ended the trip really strong with 2 different (very expensive 😭) yakiniku omakases. my last meal was from a tofu set meal place i LOVE thats near my usual airbnb in Ebisu so happy i got to do this all with friends 🥰

i love sushiro as much as the next person but theres something exceptional about finding a slightly fancier version of something you love jiyugaoka has one of my fav conveyer belt spots, and i found a really yummy omurice spot in yokohama

VERY belated thread of some of my favorite foods and memories of japan! im glad i got to spend it with friends! i'm alone for half of my jp visits so its nice to come back with other ppl to enjoy too

@AngelicSongx and its also not in main Uji lmao we had to take a separate train to the main touristy hub of Uji 😭 that museum is def a little separate from most things

@AngelicSongx its not even in kyoto proper too!! its in Uji!! when my friends and i went, no one caught that but me the few days before. (so its further from all the mainstay kyoto things)

@Evo for the ppl who are upset that it should "only be about the screen", what about fighting game artists? what about ppl who love to watch but dont play? i've been to numerous capcom cups where ppl love the game and players but dont play. or who've been drawing fanart for decades

KC was also one of my earliest tabling experiences. i was just nobody 0-2er who decided to pick up a pen seriously and they gave me a chance. foundry and KC changed my life in so many ways 🥹 one last thing...SUPPORT YOUR LOCALS!!!

i cant even begin to describe what the Foundry means to me 😭 i dont go to KC as often as i should, but i've been going to this venue since 2014 for the smash 4 and ult locals! i would go every week for years, got to love and cry over Wardy (iykyk), and make so many friends
