First Nettspend project I’m actually giving a chance, it’s not good. I wouldn’t call it irredeemable tho, I just think he has a long way to go before putting out a genuinely good project. I think he has flashes of solid rapping but I still don’t think he’s a good performer. I’ll give him a pass on lyrics but his flows most of the time feel clunky and unnatural, seems very hard for him to build momentum in these songs. Most of these choruses are poorly done as well, even if Nettspend manages to build some sort of momentum it usually gets stomped out by the chorus. Song structure is probably the biggest problem I have w this album. It wasn’t all bad tho I think there’s some great beats here and you ready?, masked up, Paris Hilton, cross em out, and lil Bieber are genuinely enjoyable songs.
