Won my first local the other day - been playing melee online for 10+ years without ever stepping foot in an in-person tournament. This marks my 2nd year of competing and I hit a major goal of mine! Regardless of the bracket, I reset grands from losers and proved a lot to myself.

I think Melee is really awesome and I've gotten to meet some of the people I care most deeply about in the world through this game and its community. Would highly recommend, find your local scene's discord group and meet up at a tournament :)

Just a friendly warning. We don’t even make $200k per year in Congress despite working nearly 140 days. If we aren’t properly compensated, a lot of us will go to the private sector and you will be left with some real idiots in Congress.

The Melee wobbling ban was one of the most dishonest rule changes ever. How many majors did IC’s win in the 2010’s when it was legal? Zero. But top players complained, and got their way thanks to top player privilege. Wobbling ICs lose most top tier MU’s, but got nerfed anyway
