The A-10 should not take Temple back unless they are dropping to the FCS. The conference doesn’t need any schools that are spending the majority of their athletic budgets on a failing football dream

Per @chnews, it looks like @UMassHockey's path to an at large has narrowed considerably. In all scenarios where they win the semi but lose the final, they end up 15th in NPI. There is no scenario where they end up 14th. So an at-large would require favorites winning everywhere.

Eric’s right on the money as always. My sims saw a 30% jump for UMass last night, although I haven’t accounted for the CCHA postseason format. Tonight represents the biggest moving possibility left.
Things are going to get extremely interesting with those CCHA teams, too.

@mostly_david @YouMassScoop I get that, but what’s your comparator? Who has come or will walk through those doors and do better? Not to mention, the whole issue around NIL and the portal. I mean, DK was better than this and we sent him packing. Nobody is walking through that door to save the program.

MAC: 6-9
I love UMass and was extremely excited for Martin to take over but there’s just no world where this is good enough. 9 games under .500

Lmao. Another banger from the MassCo. We’re 6-8 in a conference that has a team that might go undefeated and if they don’t win the MAC championship, likely will not get a bid. In McCall‘s final year our Kenpom was 180. Right now we’re sitting at 185. I’m wide awake, lol.

don’t be ridiculous, i’m sure another MAC team will schedule literally all mid-majors, get a healthy dose of luck, and roll into amherst undefeated (the circumstances necessary for us to see a ranked team again)

The atmosphere at Mullins Center was amazing, I never saw it that packed in my four years there for a UMass basketball game. The sad part is, I know that we won't see that again for a while.
