++ i don’t think any jiwongun has ever said she’s perfect, mind you i have jwg friends whom i talk about her lil messups here and there to, but it’s never to a public audience because people outside the fandom don’t know what’s going on and will always take anything at surface level. and none of us think liz is a flawless being who can commit no wrong. she herself mentioned that it’s only human for mistakes to be made and i really do agree.

“it’s not good to diminish the efforts and skills built up so far based on a single video” it’s HIGH TIME she spoke up because y’all are really starting to get too comfortable with nitpicking on liz and holding her to unnecessarily high standards under the guise of wanting “good for the group” and “being objective”. i really do think it’s one thing to be objective and another to set her up for obvious hate on this platform where every single thing gets put under the microscope the moment it leaves the circle. liz’s been putting in the work behind the scenes and on stage since debut, and to just diminish all that is ridiculous, really. i hope everyone realises that while ive was getting doubted for their vocal abilities, liz always pulled through with the challenging parts in songs like royal and i am. and i can confidently say that liz had a huge part to play in the general public’s perception of ive shifting. i’m not discrediting anyone else’s efforts here but i do think it’s necessary to acknowledge liz’s.
