But to say there isn’t a single young person, not even among those who have worked and are working with you, who has the moral, intellectual, and physical capacity to lead Nigeria is quite concerning. It suggests a gap in grooming the next generation, which is a key part of leadership. You’ve been Vice President before. Over the years, one would expect that you had intentionally mentored and raised people you could confidently point to as capable of leading at the highest level. And respectfully, if life is uncertain, as we all know it is, and you were to end your sojourn on earth tomorrow, according to the will of Allah, are we to understand that the country would be left without capable hands? That’s a difficult position to accept Sir.

One thing about Nigerians in the UK: We have quietly dominated entire sectors and industries. Finance, tech, law... You look around the room and you see us. We indeed have some of the smartest people in the world.
