I’m sorry I made you feel unheard or unseen that never was my intention, we started Omni together and you were always apart of our family like my mom would say. During the last year with Omni with my mom getting more and more sick I’ve just been tired and had no energy to give or to deal with anything else it wasn’t fair of me to treat you any different so I hope can forgive me. The two members, Layz and Fluff, have been removed from our team. Their language was offensive. Unacceptable. And not a reflection of the values of our team. I apologize to all who were offended. We will do better. We are doing better. We now move forward wiser than we were before. @pitstopers Transracialstoppers, how can you identify as an African American male if you let things like these happen right in front of your face?? These are your own teammates and you just think it’s okay to defend them like they own you or something. This isn’t django unchained.

Thank you for everyone who supported us through qualifiers, even with all that’s going on. Truthfully I’m extremely sorry as the captain for Omni and as an African American male to not have handled the controversy sooner or well. I know nothing about the normalization of slurs that’s honestly insane, I don’t really keep up the with the community sometimes since most of the community is primarily uncalled for hate, and I learned my lesson years ago. I mostly just keep up with the competitive aspects of the game.

@pitstopers There have been talks about Omni and the normalization of slurs before, I can’t recall the specifics as it’s currently 2am, but if they’ve been saying this stuff since 2024,, it’s kind of hard to imagine you didn’t know anything.

The issues of Omni’s racism isn’t new. They’ve been called out multiple times in the past, and instead of doing anything then, you wait until public backlash is extreme to say ANYTHING. Your members literally made excuses and enabled racism even AFTER being called out.

@Reidtastic_ To recall our line up 2023 was before my time 2024 was COA 7 with WWY, Honor, Agra, Juan with Ivt being Seiro Forbidden Juan and Kloud. The stuff about Kloud was brought up to me but personally I like handling everything internally so that’s why i never publicly talked about it.

It’s hard to express an apology over messages in my opinion. But they genuinely did mean it. My stream isn’t in no way shape or form there to justify there actions since you truthfully can’t justify the things they said. I’m not sure what’s the best way to address what they said especially with their being no justifying what they said. But please I’d like to continue having a conversation about this. I’ll address my side more of it on stream tomorrow.

@sillirfour Yes and KillerBoss before this was even brought to my attention made an apology video on YouTube well before he was apart of Omni youtu.be/U7hmRCVxgP0 since the messages in question KB said were brought to attention in a community tournament we were in.

@handsharks There is 100% not excuse for what Layz or fluff said. The account claiming to be Layz and saying his parents are black? isn’t him. It’s just trolls. I’m sorry we couldn’t match your expectations as a team. And I apologize for the conduct of my team members.

as someone that has been rooting for omni im so fucking disappointed man, even if you wanna argue layz is part black theres no excuse for what fluff’s said either, i hope omni loses id be embarrassed for these to be our COA representatives

@Whittle_Demon Allegations truthfully wasn’t the right word used. We were made aware of the screenshots months ago but pearl and Zeus, we thought it was best to handle it internally. But I wouldn’t allow discrimination against anyone.

Allegations and it’s clear screenshots of them saying the n word, but sure lets adress it durin a live stream where fans will justify it and yall will ignore clear criticism. How you one of us but not scoldin your crew for mocking black trauma will never make sense to me.

@finalgirledit If you’re referring to something in the past, i wasn’t made of aware of any former members doing anything? However when pearl confronted me about this I immediately handled it in-house.

I’ve seen the twitter comments and Omni is extremely devastated at the allegations, with call of the abyss going on we haven’t be able to address the allegations. But we will address everything on live stream Sunday at around 4:00 PM EST.

I’m not defending anything they said allegations just wasn’t the right word used. Of course I’m livid and would never surround myself with racist people who would deliberately express hate against my people. But at the same time to me i feel it’s important to teach people about the history of black people and the derogatory words used against us. rather then immediately spread hate and label them as the textbook definition of racist.

@pitstopers are you not ashamed to be black and not only letting racism slide, but actively defending the people behind it?

None of the screenshots are from our Omni server. They were taken from personal DMs. Not that that’s any better but most of these screenshots truth be told are my first time seeing it. I spoke to my team when pearl first came to my DMs. To my knowledge they told me they’d do better and stop not realizing how serious it is. If there’s any recent screenshots after I spoke to them then that shows how unapologetic they were to me. I’ve met these people in real life last COA, so I’ve given them the benefit of the doubt hoping they were just extremely ignorant. This doesn’t excuse anything.
