Also despite pasting a date in ISO 8601 format and forcing the cell to that format, I have to edit it in my locale. Which, of course, is my fault for using a spreadsheet as a database.

A reminder that for however much progress Microsoft claims to have made with Office and injecting AI crap, in 2024 the Date format in Excel still doesn't have ISO 8601 format (nor is it a default in Custom format), a standard published in 1988.
