36 years ago, I said *I do* We only dated for 2 months. Everyone said we were crazy and it wouldn't last. Everyone who told us that has been divorced. I think we beat the odds. Not even cancer came between us. Both of us going through chemo at the same time. Happy Anniversary!

Tomorrow marks 4 years since my I tried to take my own life. At the time, I was on a psych ward and didn’t think things would ever get better… Well, turns out I was wrong and, whilst it hasn’t been easy, I’m so glad that I stayed 😊

I do very hard things with good people. My kids loved saging (banana). It showed up in so many ways in our daily lives. I couldn't bear them after they were killed. Its taken me almost 10 yrs to make a breakfast like DW's favourite. One bite down. I pray this goes well.

Today we said farewell to our youngest granddaughter, Alice aged 15. It’s not something you ever imagine having to do. We have wonderful memories of our holidays & days out with 100’s of photos. She loved all animals & was very artistic. #RIPAlice 💔

My sister lost her battle to cancer this afternoon. She was 38 and left behind two kids. May the souls of all the faithfully departed rest in peace, AMEN!

Yesterday morning I had a beautiful Spanish cottage that gave me endless joy, where I met my husband and raised my son, the only house I’ve ever owned, with fruit trees I grew, with a garden of native plants. Now, ashes. I am heartbroken 💔 #palisadesfire

My friend who took care of Leroy managed to get a few essentials from our house for me. Look what was in the bag with my pajamas (I had none). A note I wrote myself in the depths of despair after Molly died. So random. Yet so perfectly timed and on point. I needed this reminder. Maybe you do too 🙏.

A tough day with tough decisions to make. This is proving to be the most brutal adventure I’ve faced. Two fifty pence sized blisters on my feet don’t help either. Another day recovering tomorrow.
