Ich war gestern live anwesend und habe es mit eigenen Augen gesehen. Da hat niemand getreten. Maurer ist auf die Jugendlichen losgegangen und wollte ihnen etwas aus der Hand entreißen und ist dabei gestürzt. Das Krasseste dabei war, dass Winhart erst einmal sein Handy gezückt hat, um Fotos vom am Boden liegenden Maurer zu machen,statt seinem Kollegen zu helfen.

@poorbjorn I'm half through, and yes, so far, it is a collection of stories and anecdotes about note-taking, the development of note- and sketchbooks, but also about paper production, the invention of modern accounting.. it's a fresh perspective on many familiar phenomena

@queckbob1 how is it? i looks like one of those book that collects a bunch of musing and anecdotes about a topic, which is fine to read, but don't end up as very memorable in the end..

Anonymous I work at a public library. A teenage boy came to the desk. He looked nervous. "I found this," he said. He put a copy of Harry Potter on the counter. It was lost 3 years ago. It was battered. "I stole it," he admitted. "We didn't have money for books. But I read it. I read it ten times." He pulled out a crumpled $10 bill. "For the fine." I looked at the computer. The fine was way more than $10. I looked at the kid. He was honest. He was a reader. I took the $10. "Actually," I said, "The fine is exactly zero dollars during Amnesty Week." (There is no Amnesty Week). I pushed the money back to him. "Buy your own copy," I said. "And come back. We have the sequel." He comes in every Tuesday now. Libraries are for reading, not for accounting.

Freundliche Erinnerung vom Fachmann: Achtet bitte (!) auf das Alter eurer Reifen, wenn ihr euch selbst daheim die Winterreifen draufknallt! Das Alter erkennt ihr an der DOT Nummer (Foto) Die Zahl gibt das Produktionsdatum des Reifens an! "Aber Maxi, warum ist das wichtig?" Ganz einfach erklärt: Je älter ein Reifen ist umso härter wird er, was dann dazu führt, dass die Haftung gerade bei diesen Witterungsverhältnissen drastisch abnimmt☝️ Sehr oft höre ich dann meistens folgendes Argument: "Ach, der hat ja noch locker 6 Millimeter Profil, da ist genug Speck drauf!" Ja natürlich und selbst wenn der Reifen noch 9 Millimeter Profildicke hätte, ist er so knüppelhart, dass du da mit ner Felx drangehen musst um das Profil zu verringern☝️ "Aber Maxi, wie alt dürfen die Reifen denn höchstens sein?" Der TÜV sagt als Faustformel ca 10 Jahre, aus der Erfahrung heraus empfehle ich allerdings bereits bei 8 Jahren die Pneus zu erneuern. Denn ab 8 Jahren bilden sich bereits im Bereich der Karkasse die ersten porösen Stellen☝️ Daher nochmals die eindringliche Bitte: Die Reifen sind die direkte Verbindung zwischen eurem Auto und der Straße! Letztendlich entscheidet ein "funktionierender" Reifen darüber, wie lang eurer Bremsweg ist und somit über das Leben oder die körperliche Unversehrtheit von euch und anderen Verkehrsteilnehmern!
