Khalil ran into a nearby house and shared her location with officials so rescuers could reach her. Rescuers arrived, pulled out the injured Faraj, but came under Israeli fire before they could get to Khalil. Then Israel struck the exact same house she was hiding in. She was later found dead under the rubble.
