HUGE! HUGE!!! The Scottish Courts just ruled that men should not be housed in women’s prisons. This is a huge win for women!!! They are NOT taking it well over at the Blue place.

"no guys, you need to feel sorry about the dude who continuously bullied & harassed a girl, who he even has sexual fantasies about, & will never say sorry. you need to feel sorry for him because he has shitty parents and hates himself. Guys come on! We licensed a song for this!!"

I regret to inform you that anyone whose job is related to preventing domestic violence, supporting women's shelters, etc. is now considered "male centered" for thinking about men's potential predatory behavior too much. /s
bunnie@CuriousBunnie12

like i don’t think you can call yourself decentered from men if all you do is think nonstop about how every man in public is predating on you and abusing you. i don’t think that’s feminist vigilance or being careful.

@achuuz_ so you are aware it doesn't go away because the oppression is sex based, not gender 😭 there is a difference between treatment and oppression. treatment based on what people assume your gender is can not save any of us from sex based oppression.

@radgemm There isn't ANY kind of oppression that just goes away but it sure helps when some of it does! I can see the difference between how I am treated vs how my trans male friends are treated by people

this is a very dishonest discussion towards women AND trans men. misogyny is based on the female body. trans men experience both transphobia and misogyny especially when it comes to medical treatment. just being perceived as men won't solve this.
❤️🧡achuuz🩷💜@achuuz_

@natsukaca @wlwningning If people don't perceive you as a woman you won't be subjected to misogyny duh This is literally a tale as old as time what point are you trying to make

@achuuz_ that's the whole point, if someone is still dealing with the consequences of misogyny in any degree they're still going through it. passing alone can only avoid so much at first instance. no female oppression goes away just because one might not be perceived as a woman.

@radgemm Yeah duh transmen experience medical misogyny, their doctor knows they are trans. This is obviously about social settings. You seriously think a transman who "passes" would experience misogyny from other men, who don't know and can't tell he's trans?💀

I will never ever in my life stand with the right-wing for anything but the left isn't for us either 😭 communist males are some of the most misogynistic bundles out there

women can't even trust the left because white males discover communism and then they don't like that they're the oppressing class and decide to invent an oppression to pretend they are suffering and women deserve to die and get raped for contributing to said oppression
Modern Rome in Freefall 🇵🇸@ljmontello

I genuinely don't think saying you have a right to wish violence against any woman you perceived as insufficiently supportive is really doing a whole lot toward fighting against the maladjusted incel allegations some of y'all have built up. This is straight up incel shit.

this might be unpopular on rad but regardless of my opinion on the matter I will always include ftm in my fights because their bodies are also brutalised on medical terms. modern medicine barely even knows how to deal with uteruses and pcos. being born as a female is oppressive.

I will never participate in the inhumane way misogyny views women. NEVER. A virgin woman and a sex worker have the same value and dignity. FULL STOP. That is how I view all women, equally.

"we just want to feel respected and safe 🥺" turns into "i should be allowed to torture women who don't pay attention to me and it's normal to fantasize about that actually" really quickly but tell me again why women are meant to feel comfortable sharing spaces with these males ?

We're slowly reaching the point where people will say things like "why do women complain about misogyny? why do women complain about violence against women and girls? this is so male centered". Yall absolutely bastardized the term "male centered" to fit your narrative

funniest thing is that I often try to think like this and every time I am proven wrong. and this is coming from my very, very privileged place of experience in which this often just means I am bothered by males crossing my boundaries. imagine what other women go through.
